Feel abundant energy all day - tiny exercises to quickly keep us all pumped up !

Doing exercise in bulk mode like 30 to 1 hour is so demotivating, that we tend to procrastinate hitting gym or to do just some exercise at home or outside. From trying out different things, what i found the most easy to do is to do tiny exercise spread out through the day in both home and workplace. Whenever i hit the restroom after taking the piss, i would take 5 push-ups and 5 squats. You can notch it down to just one push-up and one squat to start with. It will blast your drowsiness or dull mood away and it takes just like 1-3 mins.

The average amount of people use restroom around 6-7 times a day. If you can after taking a leak and take this tiny exercise of doing push-up and squats. It would add up to like 30-35 counts a day. It improves blood circulation, reduces the brain fog if you are stuck in a sedentary computer job. I personally do software development, and after trying it out, i feel more energetic to carry on with the brain intensive task at hand. You get more energy than the energy that is spent. Its is really bang for the small effort you have put in. You feel limitless to do anything when you are all pumped up after this exercise. It takes very less effort than compared to a 30-
45 min gym, but gives ton loads of benefits.

It can quickly form an atomic habit and be more sticky and consistent then the normal exercise routine. Because we are adding a simple cue of visiting restroom to make us remember to do this tiny exercise. I recently read a book "atomic habits: Tiny changes, remarkable results ", so to form a habit and to make it really stick, it needs a cue and reward and make it less difficult to start. That's what we are doing to make this fitness habit to really stick and to reap huge benefits from it.

If you feel really not good about  keeping your hands on the floors of the restroom, then you can skip the push-up and do the squats alone. The enormous benefit of doing squats is that it works the calf muscles. The calf muscles does a very important job of pumping the blood from the lower extremities to the upper parts of the body. It is like a second heart, working it out reduces takes of some load from the heart and frees it up. The extra pumping of blood really improves the cognitive benefits and will keep the runners high throughout the day. After some time, you can add in variations like other standing exercises that comes in energization and HIIT exercises into the mix to keep it interesting.
