How to Supercharge your mind and body by doing NOTHING ?

This is crazy, you can tell. How can one be energized by doing nothing. Well, let me ask you some questions, Are you tired all the time ? doesn't feel motivated to do anything around ? Don't feel passionate to chase your long forgotten dreams and wishes ? Doesn't feel successful even after putting all of your effort into things ? If your answer is yes to many of the questions, then you are really being too busy and not spending some time doing really nothing.

"Why these humans are always busy ? Can't they see and learn from us ?"

Let me clear out what is doing nothing really means. Doing nothing does not mean that you just talk with friends over phone, using smartphone, seeing television, watching videos on YouTube, read your favorite books or eating your tasty food or even listening to music or podcast. Doing nothing means just doing nothing. You just sit still, even close your eyes and just let your thoughts and emotions raise and fall as it is. Don't put in any new information, data or stuff into your body , mind or heart while you are doing nothing.

What does it do ? really profound things than you can imagine. You doing nothing after doing lot of hard work and getting stuck in a problem. When you are silent and do nothing, your heart and mind solves the problem and get it all sorted out automatically. You don't even have to put any effort, just be still let your mind and heart wander. 

Sometimes, when people are asked to do nothing and be alone in a room without phone, TV or the internet, many tell that they would go insane and it would be very hard for them. What really happens when you are doing nothing, your mind and heart is bringing up the past unresolved stuffs and presenting it to your conscious mind. The conscious mind then chews on them and resolves them. If you dont let it occur and just get busy with the next work. Your mental and physical health is at risk as the unresolved stuff increases and eventually calls for your attention through health issues.

So, just be easy on yourself and do nothing. I follow like for every 50 mins of work i do, i spend 10 mins doing nothing. So, if i work 6 hours, i spend 1 hour doing nothing. It instantly energizes my mind, heart and body and supercharges it and prepares me for the next challenge to be faced in life. There is a whole philosophy called Dhamma, Vipassana meditation built by this concept. There are centers all over the world founded by Goenka, you can check it from above link. There is a 10 days course, where people are given a meditation hall and a place to sleep with attached bathroom. They are given free food (you can donate as your heart wish) for those 10 days and are stripped of all cellphones, laptops , watches and other gadgets, like digital detoxification. In those 10 days they are asked to do nothing. They must not even speak with others.

A friend of mine that i met during Jagriti Yatra shared his experience there. he was so confused about what do next in his life. So, he tried dhamma out. After 10 days, all the past unresolved emotional , mental stuff were resolved and he said he was feeling with crystal clarity about what to do next. He found the clear purpose and challenge he need to set and meet in his career and life. So, this can be life-changing for many of us if done. But, since many cant afford 10 days. We can try out couple of hours every day. Before going to bed just sit and do nothing for a while and when you feel sleepy then go to sleep. Doing nothing before sleeping also promotes deep sleep. 

Our mind have two modes of working, one is the active mode and the other is passive mode. When we are doing nothing the passive mode takes over. It has the power of the subconscious mind which can process information simultaneously and present us with a solution, i guess that is the reason that doing nothing really makes wonders in our lives.
